4 factions were fighting during this battle : Syntha, Koralon (played by myself), Vasa and Junkers.
We have decided to play the shuttle scenario (UW n°2) with 300 pts for each army. We had to recover 5 items within 6 inch from the shuttle. From the 6th turn a test is made to know if the shuttle explodes. Everything within the 6 inches is destroyed or killed and the battle ends.

Turn 1
Nothing interesting happens. Everybody moves toward the target. The Teratosynth MLRS try to shoot at Junkers but he misses. The Hydra is revealed at the secondary vent placed near the shuttle.
Note : Every factions have decided to split their forces.


Turn 2
Vasa are deploying. Synthas prepare themselves to take in the top of the map. Junkers advance. A Pit Beast manages to charge the Hydra but no wounds were made during this turn. Broods gather in cover to think about the 2 Oni Exo-Suit march.


Turn 3
Retainers stay in cover in the tank traps. Oni Exo-Suits go on with a few troops. A small group (1 Boss, 1 Retainer with Naginata and the Hatamotos) are planning to hunt down some Syntha.
Both AndroSynth with Pulse Rifle reach the tower’s top (with nice lines of sight !). Artemis and Achille reach a cover and stay ready for action.
The Amazon hides in a building while a Secutor turns around it. The fight between the Hydra and the Pit Beast goes on with a wound for the Hydra. A Myrmillo shoot at a Larvan and the Harpykon. Larvan stays stunned. A Great Pit Beast charges at the Broodmaster. None will suffer any wounds.
The Broods reach a cover, avoiding Retainer’s shots form the other side of the street. The Harpikon try to approach the cover to be able to charge the Myrmillon next turn and prevent him to scorch everything in sight.


Turn 4
Before Harpykon and Larvan could react, the Myrmillo fires again and kills both opponents. One Pit Beast catches an item. The Amazon try to reach the Artemis to compare their fighting skills, but the Artemis prefer to shot down her before. The Secutor nearby is killed by the Achille.
A big BLAM from the Terato ends the fight between the Hydra and the Pit Beast, both being killed. The Pointer kills the Hatamoto who was charging the Androsynth. Team led by Oni Exo-Suits rushes toward the objectives.
Broods, seeing their comrades burned, get panicked.


Turn 5
The last Larvan is crushed by the Great Pit Beast who is killed by the BroodMaster. Broods are burned by a Myrmillo. The BroodLeader will try to stop the Vasa units who will catch victory items.
Secutors shoot at the BroodMaster but miss it.
The DragonFly catch the item the hydra fails to secure. A Retainer take advantage of Syntha dealing with others troops to catch another item. A third item is caught by a Boss. Oni Exo-Suits go ahead to provide cover to the other units.
Syntha are busy : they shot down the nearby Vasa units. The second Boss is killed. The Teratosynth try to shoot at the Retainers but misses.


Turn 6
Vasa units with items (3) go back to their deployment zone. One Oni charges a Pit Beast. The other one follows the retreating units. Last Hatamoto falls to the ground and the Naginata Retainer goes back.
Syntha react too late to prevent Vasa to fly away. TeratoSynth misses again ! The Pit Beast with an item become impetuous, forsake her item and try to reach the Oni Exo-Suit. A Retiarius get the item back.
The BroodMaster is quite angry and kills a Myrmillo and a Retiarius and then charges a Secutor. The BroodLeader charges at the Triad Boss and finish him, letting an item alone on the floor.


Turn 7
The Shuttle explodes (a little bit too soon). Casualties : one Oni Exo-suit, one Myrmillo, two Pit Beasts and the BroodMaster. The battles ends with 2 items for Vasa, 1 for Junkers, 0 for Koralon and Syntha.


The end
In conclusion I ‘ll say it was an interesting battle, even if it was a bit too long (Vasa and Junkers were played by beginners). I haven’t found a good way to play my Koralons. Every battle I try to keep my army in one block but in the end I always split it. And this means less power to focus on one point.
Syntha player has waited for a good opportunity but he was surprize by the explosion.
Junkers had given a hard time to my Koralon, with a special note for the flame-thrower.

Congratulations to the Vasa player, even if he failed to push away the Syntha (Grape Gun Androsynth are quite efficient at short range). Oni Exo-Suit have frightened the Broods, and made them waste time (they should have gone with the BroodMaster to deal with the Myrmillos). The units who have recovered the items have succeeded in making good use of their speed.
